3. General concept and design
The design of GOPHER is based on the RenderWorks Industrial Design system around the idea of Industrial Minimalism.
The exterior of the machine is formed by several large panels without complex plastics.
Main Features:
- simple surfaces;
- large flat panels;
- minimum number of stamps;
- lack of decorative elements;
- all parts are suitable for laser cutting and bending;
- modular cabin;
- high visibility;
- recognizable front part.
The front part resembles the face of a gopher:
- wide "cheeks";

- expressive LED headlights-eyes;
- friendly but confident character.
The side panels have large ventilation blinds and create a sense of strength without unnecessary aggression. The whole design is built around a few simple geometric volumes.
