Our RENDERWORKS studio has developed the concept of an intelligent operator keyboard designed to control complex industrial, transport and dispatch systems. The project was created as a universal workstation for operators of production lines, process control centers, security systems and control rooms.
Unlike a conventional computer keyboard, the device was designed taking into account the specifics of professional operation. We have paid great attention to the ergonomics of the workplace, the location of the controls and the possibility of long-term continuous operation of the operator.
The central element of the design is a large touchscreen display combined with a physical keyboard into a single work surface. There are programmable function key blocks on both sides of the screen, which can change their purpose depending on the current task. This architecture allows you to quickly adapt the interface to various production scenarios without changing the design of the device.
During the development of the industrial design, special attention was paid to the geometry of the body, the angles of inclination of the work surfaces and the location of the keys in order to reduce operator fatigue during prolonged operation. The design is designed for intensive operation in industrial conditions and allows the use of specialized software.
The project included the design of the exterior, three-dimensional modeling, user interface development, visualization of various operational scenarios and preparation of presentation materials.
