1. The mission of the project
TAYMEN is designed to save human lives in any conditions.
The main objective of the project is to provide rescue services with a universal high—speed platform capable of arriving at the scene of an accident as quickly as possible, regardless of the state of the sea, the depth of the water area or the infrastructure of the coast.
The boat is designed to perform the following tasks:
- search and rescue operations;
- evacuation of people;
- fighting fires on the water;
- assistance to emergency vessels;
- patrolling of marine and river water areas;
- ensuring the safety of mass events;
- delivery of rescue groups;
- medical evacuation;
- conducting special operations;
- elimination of the consequences of emergency situations.
Operation is possible:
- the sea;
- bays;
- rivers;
- reservoirs;
- ports;
- shallow harbors;
- Arctic and northern regions;
- tropical climate.
2. The idea of the TAYMEN project
The taimen is one of the strongest freshwater fish.
He is able to move for a long time against a strong current, has high speed, endurance and incredible strength. These qualities formed the basis of the project's philosophy.
TAYMEN stands for speed, reliability, and the ability to get where most rescue vessels cannot.
The main principles:
- Maximum readiness.
- Simplicity of construction.
- Absolute reliability.
- Minimum response time.
- Engineering without compromise.
- Work in the most difficult conditions.
The project's motto:
First to Arrive. Last to Leave.
The first one arrives. The last one leaves.
3. General concept and design
The exterior of TAYMEN is built according to the principles of modern industrial engineering.
Instead of complex plastic forms, large flat aluminum panels are used, designed for:
- laser cutting;
- flexible;
- simple welding;
- quick replacement during repairs.
Main design features:
- a long, swift silhouette;
- high stem;
- pronounced deep V of the body;
- low cabin with panoramic glazing;
- wide working aft cockpit;
- minimum number of decorative elements;
- integrated equipment;
- modern LED optics;
- developed passages along the sides;
- low silhouette for passing under bridges.
The image of the boat resembles a taimen:
- long body;
- powerful front end;
- smooth narrowing of the body;
- high stability on the wave;
- the ability to move against the current.
4. Engineering solutions
The project is designed as an engineering platform.
Basic solutions:
All-aluminum construction
- marine aluminum alloy;
- high corrosion resistance;
- minimum weight.
Sheet architecture
Almost all panels are executed:
- laser cutting;
- flexible;
- welding.
A minimum of complex surfaces.
Deep V-shaped body
Provides:
- soft wave passage;
- high speed;
- stability;
- safety in case of heavy excitement.
Water jet propulsion
Allows:
- work at depths of less than 1.2 m;
- it is safe to approach people in the water;
- avoid damage to the screws;
- Maneuver in confined spaces.
Modular add-on
All interior spaces have a changeable layout.
Installation is possible:
- medical equipment;
- the headquarters complex;
- diving equipment;
- fire fighting equipment;
- communication equipment;
- unmanned complexes.
Quick access system
The boat is being equipped:
- emergency rescue wells;
- stern platform;
- side gate;
- stairs;
- the forward landing pad.
High level of security
- armored glass;
- bulletproof panels;
- NBC-air filtration;
- backup of the main systems;
- automatic fire extinguishing system.
