TANK is a compact tracked all-terrain vehicle with a fully enclosed body, designed for year-round operation in difficult climatic conditions.
The main feature of the project was the integration of the transport function and the workspace. The spacious internal volume allows the car to be used not only for crew transportation, but also as a mobile point of work, maintenance or placement of specialized equipment.
The architecture of the body is built around maximizing the efficient use of internal space without increasing the external dimensions of the car.
Wednesday
The concept is focused on operation in regions with snow cover, swampy terrain and lack of prepared roads.
The closed insulated body ensures comfortable operation of the crew for a long time, and the tracked chassis allows you to maintain high maneuverability on soft soils and snow.
The vehicle can be used as a transport platform for expeditionary operations, maintenance of remote facilities, search and rescue operations and transportation of personnel.
Engineering study
The main volume of the body is made as straight as possible, which made it possible to increase the interior space and simplify the layout of the equipment.
The short front part of the body and the forward-facing driver's seat improve visibility and make better use of the overall length of the car.
The tracked chassis remains open, providing convenient access to the suspension elements and simplifying maintenance in the field.
A separate service area with stairs and a large door is provided in the rear, facilitating access to equipment and loading of equipment.
The exterior is based on a combination of simple planes and large functional elements that emphasize the utilitarian nature of the machine without using decorative solutions.
Result
The concept of a multi-purpose tracked all-terrain vehicle with a modern body architecture and a universal interior layout has been developed.
The project demonstrates the approach of our studio RENDERWORKS to the modernization of the existing transport platform, in which changes are aimed not only at updating the appearance, but also at improving functionality, ease of operation and compliance with modern requirements for specialized equipment.
