ABOUT THE PROJECT

Our RENDERWORKS studio has completed a full cycle of industrial design of a line of LED lamps — from concept search and research of various layout solutions to creation of three-dimensional models, prototypes and preparation of design documentation.

The main objective of the project was to develop not just a modern appearance of the product, but to create a lighting system capable of adapting to various operating conditions. During the design process, dozens of variants of the body shape, geometry of cooling radiators and mechanisms for changing the position of light modules were investigated. In the early stages of the work, many sketches and concepts were carried out, which made it possible to choose the optimal design.

The main feature of the developed lamp is its modular architecture. The LED panels can change the angle of inclination relative to the central housing, so that the user can change the direction of the luminous flux, the area of illumination and the nature of light scattering. This solution makes the same lamp suitable for both industrial premises and warehouses, sports facilities, greenhouses and other spaces with different lighting requirements.

Special attention was paid to the engineering component of the project. The case is made of an aluminum profile with a developed rib, which simultaneously forms a recognizable external image of the product and provides effective heat dissipation from the LED modules. The visualizations clearly show that the cooling fins are not a decorative element, but part of the overall engineering design of the hull.

During the development, detailed three-dimensional models of all product components were built, the kinematics of the rotary mechanisms were checked, photorealistic visualizations of various lamp positions were prepared, and options for further mass production were worked out.

This project well demonstrates our approach to industrial design: the appearance of a product is not born separately from the design, but becomes a logical continuation of engineering requirements, production technology and operational features.
