Our RENDERWORKS studio has developed the concept of CYBEREYES contact lenses, combining industrial design, microelectronics and augmented reality technologies. The project includes not only the lenses themselves, but also a fully developed ecosystem of the device.: An intelligent case for storing, automatically cleaning, charging and servicing lenses.
The main objective of the project was to create the most realistic image of the device, which may appear in the near future. The concept is based on existing research in the field of microelectronics, flexible displays, biocompatible materials and energy-efficient microsystems.
When developing the lens, we paid attention to the placement of miniature electronic components directly on the periphery of the transparent optical zone. This solution allows you to keep the user's view while simultaneously placing the processor, wireless module, power supply system and miniature display outside the central field of view.
Special attention was paid to the design of the intelligent case. It performs several functions at once: secure storage, automatic cleaning of lenses, their sterilization, charging of built-in energy storage devices and diagnostics of device status. Thanks to this, the user gets a completely autonomous system that does not require complex maintenance.
The concept also developed a promising power supply system based on the use of miniature thermoelectric generators that convert the temperature difference between the surface of the eye and the environment into electrical energy. This approach allows you to significantly increase the battery life of the device.
The project has developed a product concept, industrial design, three-dimensional models, presentation visualizations and animation materials demonstrating the device of the future augmented reality system.
This project demonstrates the capabilities of our studio to develop concepts for high-tech consumer devices that combine industrial design, engineering, and scientific and technical forecasting.
