Our studio has developed an industrial design of the Cardio Link medical complex, designed for long-term monitoring of a patient's cardiac activity with the possibility of remote transmission of diagnostic information.
The work on the project included a full cycle of industrial design, from researching user scenarios to creating a three—dimensional product model, preparing prototypes and presentation materials. The team was tasked with developing a device that the patient could comfortably wear for a long time without limiting daily activity.
The complex consists of a compact ECG recorder, mounted directly on the patient's body using electrodes, and an external communication unit that provides information storage, system power and transmission of medical data to specialists. The visualizations show the location of the device on the human body, which allows you to immediately assess the ergonomics and dimensions of the product.
Special attention was paid to the miniaturization of the housing, the convenience of connecting electrodes, the safety of fastening and the ease of daily use. Due to the smooth lines of the case, the device does not have protruding elements that could cling to clothing or cause discomfort during prolonged wear.
In addition to the development of industrial design, three-dimensional models of all components of the product were made, visualizations of various use cases and materials for the presentation of the project to investors and potential manufacturers were prepared.
The Cardio Link project demonstrates our studio's experience in developing medical technology, where industrial design combines ergonomics, mass production requirements, user experience, and engineering constraints. Such projects require not only the creation of an attractive appearance, but also a deep understanding of human interaction with the product, which is especially important for medical equipment used for a long time.
