MARTEN is able to move efficiently where wheeled vehicles no longer work, ensuring safe transportation of people and equipment.
##2. The philosophy of the MARTEN project
The name MARTEN is inspired by the marten.
It is a small, incredibly agile, strong and hardy predator, able to move freely through snow, swamps, windbreaks and rocky slopes.
These qualities formed the basis of the project's philosophy.
Basic principles of the project
Passability
The equipment must go further than any roads.
Reliability
The machine must work for years in autonomous conditions.
Simplicity
A minimum of difficult decisions.
The maximum of a sound engineering approach.
Versatility
One platform has dozens of application options.
Honest engineering
Every detail makes practical sense.
Without decorative elements.
3. General concept and design of RenderWorks Industrial Design
The main objective of the project was to create a modern machine that can actually be mass-produced.
Therefore, design is completely subordinated to engineering.
Basic principles
- simple panels
- minimal number of unique details
- bending of sheet metal
- laser cutting
- absence of complex stampings
- high maintainability
The appearance is inspired by the plastic head of a marten.
The front part received a characteristic "predatory" silhouette.:
- slanted windshield
- narrow LED headlights
- powerful protective bumper
- wide side "cheeks"
- wedge-shaped nose
The cabin has a modern architecture with a large glazing area. The sides are as smooth as possible. The external equipment is mounted modularly. The upper part of the car is equipped with a universal expedition trunk.
4. Engineering solutions
During the development of MARTEN, the main focus is on operational efficiency.

MARTEN is a state—of-the-art engineering platform designed as a universal solution for use in the harshest natural conditions. The project combines a concise industrial design, high processability and modular architecture, allowing the creation of a wide range of specialized machines without changing the basic design.
The philosophy of MARTEN is based on the principles of rational engineering: each part performs a specific function, and the design is focused on maximum reliability, maintainability and a long life cycle. Simple panels adapted for laser cutting and bending, high node unification and modern digital architecture make the platform cost-effective both in production and operation.
Thanks to the combination of high maneuverability, low ground pressure, autonomy and scalability, MARTEN is a next-generation platform for civil, industrial, rescue, scientific and special tasks. This is not just an all-terrain vehicle, but a universal engineering system ready for development and adaptation to the requirements of the future.
