The MARIE project is a development of a compact motor boat, the design of which was originally designed for manufacturing from low-pressure polyethylene (HDPE) sheets.
Unlike traditional fiberglass housings, which require expensive tooling and molds, HDPE sheet technology allows the body to be manufactured by cutting, bending and welding individual panels. This approach significantly reduces the cost of starting production, simplifies the production of prototypes and ensures high maintainability of the product.
During the development, special attention was paid not only to the appearance of the boat, but also to the structural architecture of the hull. The geometry of all the panels has been adapted to the sheet material, and the power kit has been designed to provide the necessary structural rigidity while maintaining the manufacturability of the assembly.
The layout is focused on daily operation: the open bow deck facilitates landing from the shore, the center console provides a good view and free movement around the cockpit, and the aft area accommodates passengers and an outboard engine.
As part of the project, production documentation was prepared, including the hull design, power kit parts and internal layout elements. According to the developed documentation, a prototype was made, which made it possible to confirm the manufacturability of the engineering solutions adopted and the feasibility of the project in terms of mass production.

Project result
The design of a small motor boat has been developed, fully adapted to the production of low-pressure polyethylene sheets. The design documentation has been prepared, the parts have been cut and the production of the prototype case has been supported, confirming the operability of the chosen technology.
