1. The mission of the project
The mission of the KABAN project is to create the most versatile off—road wheeled platform that can perform a wide range of tasks without using complex, expensive solutions.
KABAN is designed for operation:
- in the taiga;
- in the swamps;
- in the tundra;
- in the virgin snow;
- in mountainous areas;
- on sandy soils;
- on forest clearings;
- in the regions of the Far North;
- in the absence of roads and infrastructure.
Main application areas:
- geological exploration;
- oil and gas industry;
- energy industry;
- forestry;
- Ministry OF Emergency Situations;
- search and rescue operations;
- disaster medicine;
- Army units;
- border Guard Service;
- expeditions;
- hunting and fishing;
- tourist routes;
- maintenance of remote facilities.
The main objective of the project is to deliver people and cargo to places where an ordinary car cannot reach.
##2. KABAN Brand Philosophy
KABAN is a technique created by nature.
The image of the boar was not chosen by chance.
The boar is not the fastest beast, not the largest and not the most beautiful.
But it is he who is able to walk almost anywhere.
He breaks the shrubbery. Walking through the swamp. It is not afraid of deep snow.
He doesn't choose the road, he makes it.
These qualities formed the basis of the project's philosophy.
Core brand values:
- reliability;
- simplicity;
- power;
- passability;
- independence;
- endurance;
- maintainability;
- practicality.
The project's motto:
KABAN. Not looking for the way. Creates it.
3. General concept and design of KABAN
The exterior of KABAN is built around RenderWorks Industrial Design - functional industrial minimalism.
No decorative elements.
Each facet has an engineering purpose.
Main design features:
- short overhangs;
- high ground clearance;
- large wheels;
- powerful wheel arches;
- simple flat panels;
- developed protective surfaces;
- high roof line;
- good review;
- minimum number of complex surfaces.
The front of the car resembles a boar's head:
- wide "forehead";
- a powerful "piglet";
- narrow LED headlights;
- pronounced "cheekbones".
The design emphasizes a sense of strength and stability.
The design is focused on mass production using sheet metal, laser cutting and bending.
4. KABAN Engineering Solutions
Basic design principle —
Maximum reliability with minimal complexity.
Side turn
The rotation is carried out by changing the speed of the right and left side wheels.
Advantages:
- minimum turning radius;
- high maneuverability;
- lack of complex steering kinematics;
- the ability to work in a confined space.
Ultra-low pressure tires
A large contact spot provides:
- movement through the swamps;
- driving through deep snow;
- low ground pressure;
- the possibility of overcoming peat bogs;
- high smoothness of movement.
Simple power structure
The load-bearing power frame protects the crew and the units.
The external panels are replaceable and can be easily replaced in the field.
Modular architecture
All the main units are unified.
It is possible to install various modules without changing the platform.
High maintainability
All components are accessible without completely disassembling the body.
Most operations are performed with a conventional tool.
5. Key advantages of KABAN compared to existing machines
KABAN surpasses many existing wheeled all-terrain vehicles due to:
- more modern architecture;
- better visibility;
- a more rational layout;
- high modularity;
- lower manufacturing cost;
- simple production technology;
- modern ergonomics;
- convenience of service;
- high unification of details.

##8. Project Outcome
KABAN is not just another wheeled all—terrain vehicle.
This is a universal engineering platform of a new generation, designed to work where roads end and a real off-road area begins.
The project combines modern industrial design, simple and reliable construction, high throughput and modular architecture. Thanks to the combination of side rotation, ultra-low pressure tires and a unified platform, KABAN is able to become the basis of a whole family of specialized machines for civil, industrial, rescue and government applications.
KABAN is a technique that is made not for the sake of spectacular appearance, but for the sake of confident operation in the most severe operating conditions.
KABAN is a force that runs where roads end.
