Unlike classic hovercrafts, the BORAN uses two rigid metal skegs instead of a flexible skirt. This solution significantly increases the reliability of the machine during operation in harsh conditions and allows you to work in close proximity to high temperature sources, where the use of traditional SVPs is limited.

Engineering Description
The construction is based on two metal skegs that simultaneously perform the functions of a support surface and a housing.
This scheme ensures stable movement on ice, snow and shallow water, protects the structure from mechanical damage and eliminates the use of a vulnerable flexible skirt.
Due to this, the machine can be used in extinguishing wildfires, conducting emergency rescue operations and operating in areas with a high probability of contact with hot surfaces.
The compact enclosed cabin allows the crew to work in adverse weather conditions, and the open aft section provides convenient access to the power plant and propeller for maintenance.
The hull layout is built around the shortest possible bow overhang, which makes it easier to go ashore and move through ice hummocks, coastal vegetation and shallow water.
