ABOUT THE PROJECT

Our RENDERWORKS studio has developed an industrial design of a bactericidal ultraviolet lamp designed for disinfection of medical, industrial and public premises.

The work included not only the creation of a modern appearance of the product, but also a comprehensive engineering study of the internal structure. We have developed the layout of the electronic components, the cooling system, the placement of UV lamps, ventilation ducts and power elements of the housing.

Special attention was paid to the production technology. The body design was developed taking into account the use of sheet metal, standard bending and assembly methods, which reduced the cost of manufacturing without compromising the reliability of the product.

We have also worked on the convenience of equipment maintenance. The top cover provides quick access to internal components, and the housing design makes it easy to replace lamps and perform preventive maintenance.

The project was accompanied by the creation of a three-dimensional model, presentation visualizations and a set of design documentation necessary for the manufacture of a prototype.

This project is a good example of industrial design, where the aesthetics of a product are closely linked to engineering, manufacturability, and mass production requirements.
