For the company TPC "Yenisei" Our studio has developed a corporate design for a series of airfield tankers designed for aircraft maintenance. Our goal was to create modern and well-recognized corporate graphics that would look equally effective on both small cars and large tanks.
The work began with an analysis of the geometry of the tank and the specifics of its production. Unlike conventional graphic design, the design of industrial machinery requires consideration of welds, hatches, technological elements, ladders, fasteners, and bending radii of the hull. Therefore, the design was developed immediately in a three-dimensional model, which made it possible to evaluate its perception from various distances and angles in advance.
After the approval of the concept, precise scans of the tank surface were prepared and patterns of all graphic elements were made on a scale of 1:1. This made it possible, without additional adjustments, to produce films for pasting and to guarantee an exact match of the pattern on the finished equipment.
Special attention was paid to the readability of the brand symbols and the mandatory labeling of dangerous goods. The visualizations clearly show how the graphics organically repeat the shape of the tank, emphasizing its volume, and the brand colors remain recognizable even when viewed from a long distance — which is especially important for equipment operating in airports.
In addition to preparing production files, the three-dimensional model made it possible to evaluate the appearance of future cars in advance, coordinate the design with the customer even before manufacturing the equipment and eliminate expensive changes after drawing graphics.
