Our RENDERWORKS studio has developed the concept of a new generation modular electronic construction kit designed to teach children and teenagers the basics of modern electronics, programming and robotics.
The work on the project included user experience research, industrial module design, the development of a unified connection system, the creation of three-dimensional models of all components, and the preparation of a complete set of presentation materials.
The main task was to create a system that would allow electronic devices to be assembled as quickly and intuitively as possible, without the use of soldering and special tools. To do this, we have developed a universal modular platform that combines various electronic components into a single ecosystem.
Special attention was paid to the design of the connecting elements. All modules have received a single design language, the same dimensions and unified connectors, allowing you to freely combine the blocks with each other. The system includes power supplies, sensors, actuators, LED modules, controls, fans, electromagnetic elements and other electronic components.
When designing, we aimed to make the device equally attractive for both children and teachers. The buildings have rounded shapes, clearly distinguishable controls and color-coded functional elements, which greatly facilitates the learning process.
The project demonstrates our studio's capabilities in developing educational hardware platforms where industrial design is closely linked to engineering, ergonomics, and teaching methods.
