The engineers of the RENDERWORKS studio have developed the design of a modern LED street lamp, completing a full cycle of three-dimensional CAD design of the product. The project included the creation of a detailed engineering model of the hull, internal components and fasteners, taking into account the requirements of mass production and long-term operation in outdoor conditions.
Special attention was paid to the manufacturability of the design. We designed the case taking into account the features of die-cast aluminum, provided the necessary stiffeners, technological slopes, seating surfaces, fasteners and a heat dissipation system from the LED modules.
One of the key objectives of the project was to ensure the convenience of maintenance. The design allows you to quickly replace the power supply driver and the LED board without completely disassembling the lamp and removing the product from the support. This approach significantly reduces the cost of operation and increases the service life of the equipment.
We have also carefully worked out the heat dissipation system. The upper part of the case simultaneously performs the function of a decorative element and an efficient cooling radiator, ensuring stable temperature operation of LEDs and electronic components.
Upon completion of the design, a complete three-dimensional CAD model of the product was prepared, suitable for the release of design documentation, the manufacture of prototypes and the further launch of mass production.
